Gerontology Centre Subotica

Gerontology centre Subotica is a social-health institution which provides care for adults and elderly. It was founded in 1978 through integration of Centre for Home Care, Home for Adults, Nursing Home and the newly established building “Dudovasuma”. Gerontology Centre realizes its mission though provision of institutionalized and deinstitutionalized care in form of:

• Open care – gerontology clubs;

• Open care – Home care and help service ;

• Provisioning of services to the residents of “Protected housing” ;

• Institutional care – residential care in Home Dudovasuma, Nursing Home, and Home for Adults.

Each form of care provided to disabled, ill and elderly beneficiaries of our institution is conceived in order to provide adequate support, protection (existential, psycho-social, health), medical care, cultural, entertaining, recreational contents, hobbies and occupational therapy, physical rehabilitation, other technical services on a needs basis and in the moment when the state of health dictates it.
